What tractors and harvesters do we expect in FS25

Farming Simulator 25 is going to mark a big improvement in the series. It’s to be expected – after all, you would expect many things to improve after a three-year wait. There will be not only massive graphical improvements, updated physics, and brand new crops as well as mechanics. But one more thing that many people are waiting for is the updated farming machinery.

In this article, we will talk about the machinery that’s either confirmed to be in FS25 or seems to be ready to be added to the game. We will focus on their technical specifications, and their uses, and offer you some screenshots, so you can get a better look at what’s to come.

New machinery models in FS25

As usual, prior to the game’s release, the information about the upcoming machinery isn’t very extensive. However, there is still plenty of information available online – be it via the trailers, the screenshots released by the company, demos of the game, or even high-reliability leaks. Here, we will take a deeper look at what you can expect from the latest game.

New harvesters

Several new harvesters have already been showcased. The community was quick to identify the exact models. Here is the latest harvesting equipment that will be available on FS25, helping you farm faster and easier than ever before.

New Holland CR11

New Holland CR11 will make its way to the latest Farming Simulator game. In fact, the Gold Edition of this harvester is also available as the pre-order bonus for the Collector’s Edition of the game, or by pre-ordering FS25 via the GIANTS platform.

It’s a powerful harvester that can be the backbone of your farming machinery roster. CR11 is a wheeled model, and it’s quite maneuverable, making it work on pretty much any size or shape of a field you will have.

Specs:

  • Grain tank capacity: 20 thousand liters.
  • Engine: 775 HP.
  • Working width: 15 to 18 meters.

Case IH AF11

The Case IH AF11 is a direct competitor to the New Holland CR11. It’s easy to see why: they both have the same peak horsepower, the same grain tank capacity, and roughly the same width. Is this a better option for you? A lot will come down to your personal preference – maybe you just prefer the highly detailed finish on this model instead.

Specs:

  • Grain tank capacity: 20 thousand liters.
  • Engine: 775 HP.
  • Working width: 15.2 meters (50 ft)

OXO MKB-4TR

GIANTS has revealed that Farming Simulator 25 will be the first game in the series that will feature spinach as a crop. So, it shouldn’t be surprising to see a harvester focused specifically on working with leafy greens. This is where the OXO MKB-4TR comes in, with four tracks more gentle to the soil, and a central articulated joint. It might seem less powerful (because it is!) but it has a massive tank that will quickly fill up with less dense spinach.

Specs:

  • Tank capacity: 35 thousand liters.
  • Engine: 400 HP.

John Deere S7 900

The John Deere S7 900 was one of the first harvesters to be confirmed for Farming Simulator 25: that’s because it was featured on the reveal trailer! So excuse us for maybe being hasty, but we think it’s 100% guaranteed that you will be able to try this highly popular model for yourself, right from the very start: no DLCs or mods required.

Specs:

  • Grain tank: 14,1 thousand liters.
  • Engine: 625 HP.

Tractors

The tractor roster on FS25 will also see plenty of updates. Here are the models we expect to see in the latest game, as well as their general descriptions and screenshots.

Claas Xerion 12.590 and 12.650

Claas Xerions are beasts, complete with massive tracks and tow cables. We expect GIANTS to do justice to this series, and come through with two versions. First, there’s the Xerion 12.590 Terra Trac (585 HP / 430 kW), and then there’s the 12.650 (653 HP / 480 kW). These tractors should weigh around 3.5 tons, and cost roughly 700,000 euros, with the 12.650 being the heavier and the more expensive of the two. These models are not for beginners just starting out, but they will work perfectly for massive farms with huge demands. You will need to work hard to get these – or simply use some cheats, if you can’t wait!

Fendt 728 Vario Gen 7

Fendt 728 Vario Gen 22 was one of the most popular third-party tractor mods in Farming Simulator 22. It really feels right to finally see this tractor to finally get featured on the official game. This model is an excellent mid-range tractor, clocking in up to 303 HP, making it an ideal workhorse for most of the work you might need to do.

We have seen the Fendt 728 working in tandem with the Pro-Til 4TX seed drill from MZURI WORLD. This seed drill has a 4-meter working width, narrowing down to 2.95 meters for more convenient road transportation, and a split tank, so you can fill it up with both fertilizer and seed. This seed drill needs a 200-horsepower tractor to work properly, and this is exactly the sweet spot for the 728. We have no doubt: this will be one of the most popular tractors in Farming Simulator 25.

Fendt 900 Vario Series

The Fendt 900 Vario series are well known to many Farming Simulator players. It’s the ubiquitous large tractor that works with pretty much any attachment, and no job is too big for them. An engine, going all the way up to 415 HP really helps for that.

Ever since the release of FS22, Fendt has updated its 900 Series with plenty of new models. As this is a very important series to the game, we are obviously expecting to see a full refresh of the lineup for Farming Simulator 25.

Massey Ferguson 9S

The Massey Ferguson 9S tractors are guaranteed to be available on FS25. After all, they have even been featured on the official Farming Simulator YouTube channel! This model was first revealed at the Agritechnica 2023 event, and it has already earned rave reviews from actual farmers. Players of the game should absolutely love this tractor as well, it’s an incredibly versatile piece of machinery, and very efficient at dealing with just about any agricultural task out there. As is the case with most upscale new tractors, the 9S is full of modern technology. The engine in all models will be the same 8.4 liters AGCO, but the power will range from 285 to 425 horsepower.

Case IH Quadtrac 715

The Case IH Quadtrac 715 was featured on the Farming Simulator 25 trailer, which is as good as a confirmation that this tractor will be available in the game. Frankly, we’re not surprised that it made it to the trailer: it’s a stunning piece of machinery, with four tracks (ah, I get it!) made out of soft rubber that minimizes damage to the crops, and an insane 780 HP engine. This should be just about enough for literally anything that can happen in the game: from working at massive expansive fields, to major forestry tasks. Attachments will work on this as well – your only issue will be deciding, whether using this tractor is an overkill or not. If it’s not, the Case IH Quadtrac 715 will deliver excellent efficiency on large-scale operations.

Additional specialized equipment for rice

Farming Simulator 25 will also include some specialized equipment, we couldn’t possibly call either a tractor or a combine. With the latest game updates and announcements, there’s only one model we can talk about – but we really want to do exactly that.

ISEKI PR/PRJ rice transplanter

Farming Simulator series has long been known as the simulator for European and American farming. But deep in the Eastern hemisphere, there’s a lot of farming going on: and it was about time for us to get a chance to explore it even more.

This is where rice comes in – the crop feeding most of the world and requiring seemingly unusual farming practices, such as growing it on flooded fields. Specialized equipment is required for both planting and harvesting, and ISEKI PR/PRJ rice transplanter will be one of (presumably) several such pieces of machinery.

Created by ISEKI & CO, PR/PRJ is created for rice specifically. It has been featured in the reveal trailer of the game. It has also been heavily mentioned in various GIANTS events. It has a seemingly small 24.5 HP engine, but it’s perfectly enough to plant rice for up to 8 rows, at nearly 2 meters per second.

So this is all we have to talk about the latest confirmed and expected machinery for Farming Simulator 25. We can’t wait to try the game for ourselves: it’s been 3 years since the release of the previous game, and we’re itching for the improvement in graphics, features, and of course – machinery.

Of course, a lot of things change: and since the game is not yet released, we can not guarantee 100% accuracy. Stay tuned for more updates – and check out the latest FS25 game, when you have the opportunity to do so!
