FS25 News: New Maps and Tractor Mods Announced
Even though Farming Simulator 25 hasn’t been released yet, modders are already hard at work creating content for the new game – so there’s plenty to enjoy once it releases. Here, we will cover a few more stories from the modding world: talking about the latest tractors and even the brand-new maps that will add plenty of new content to the base game. Let’s begin!
John Deere 9R by Dince Modding
John Deere 9R, created by Dince Modding looks just about done. It’s a pretty interesting tractor, and according to the creator, it will also offer different wheel configurations, depending on whether you choose the American or the European version.
The lights and animations, two very important things as far as the FS25 mods are concerned, are also fully completed. There will be full IC support, as well as options for DBL and Precision Farming. It’s a very detailed mod, and you can see even the smallest little parts, like the hoses and screws, as well as a brand-new spec map.
While the 9R is all but done, 8R 2014 US and the X9 are still slightly behind, as they are still pending official testing mods from the game’s developers.
Raba 180.0 by Farm Mods TV
The Raba 180.0 tractor, created by Farm Mods TV, looks just about done. There were a few questions about the eligibility of this mod, namely related to the branding for the console version of the game (a famously big hurdle for many mod creators.) Well, it seems like the issues will be solved. The Raba 180.0 will be available on PC, and for consoles and crossplay, you will have a different-named Lizard 180.0. That’s a good solution, and we can’t wait to try both, even if the only thing that doesn’t match will be the logo at the back.
La Pichonnière map by Blacksheep Modding
Finally – the moment many have been waiting for has begun. The new Farming Simulator 25 offers plenty of new capabilities and lets the modders make much more complex mods due to the smaller file sizes. What this means is that this generation of the game should have, by far, the most complex and content-filled maps ever.
And here is one of our first FS25 map mod contenders: La Pichonnière, created by Blacksheep Modding! You may have guessed that this is a French map that does a great job of reflecting the view of the Northwestern Sarthe region. From its looks, it should offer amazing countryside and landscape views. Some YouTubers have already received early access to it: check it out online to see it in action.
Unnamed FS25 map by Gamer Designs
Gamer Designs has released some information about the map they are making for Farming Simulator 25 – as well as announcing that they’re looking for other modders to help them create it. From its looks, it seems that this map will focus on the Southern USA, specifically Oklahoma. There still isn’t much information about this map – because the work is still in its early stages. That being said, we can’t wait to hear more!
Vlasich map by Celobuki
Meanwhile, Celobuki is just about wrapping up work for their latest map, depicting Bosnia. It’s just about completed and currently in the testing stages. Once that’s done, it should be available on all platforms. Considering that Bosnia is where Celobuki is from, we expect a lot of heart and realism. There are signs for just that: we’ve already seen the wonderfully recreated local fire station.
