This article will highlight the 12 tractor mods for FS25 that we found the most interesting. They’re not divided by size or power so that you can choose from almost anything. Let’s get into it and see the best tractor mods for FS25.
- John Deere 8030 Series
- Massey Ferguson 8S
- Fendt 700 and 800 Vario
- Deutz-Fahr 9 Series
- Fendt 900 Vario (Gen 7)
- Valtra S Series
- Case IH Optum Series
- Massey Ferguson 8700S
- Massey Ferguson 3600 and Landini 19500
- Valtra A Series 4
- Case IH MXM 190
- Challenger MT 900 E ML
Here’s what makes these tractors the best:
1. John Deere 8030 Series
John Deere is perhaps the world’s favorite farming brand. So, it’s no surprise that this tractor remains one of the most popular mods for several games. Big in FS19, big in FS22, and big now! The modder takes great pride in this tractor, doing manual conversions and ensuring everything works as well as possible. And oh, it shows: John Deere 8030 on FS25 is virtually perfect.
The best thing about it? That’s got to be customization. Any player will be able to edit this tractor in several different ways:
- All the seats and wheels for you to modify
- Various blinkers, lights, and warning signs
- The front of the tractor includes a linkage with PTO and weight brackets.
- The engine and gearbox can be edited using 15 different options.
If you’re interested in adapting your machinery to look seamless in your specific country or region, it’s a great tractor mod for that as well. There are pre-built options for EU, US, Canadian, and Australian markets, such as modifying the tractor to fit the regulations. On top of that, the 8030 mod also lets you to:
- Lower and raise the tractor’s front
- Swivel the driver seat to the right
One complaint about this mod could be the unrealistic engine sounds. But the existing package is perfect enough. The 8030 looks good, is highly editable, and works on almost every farm. Bullseye.
Mod details:
- Power: 240-360 HP
- Modder: Udruzenje Nezavisnih Modera
- Base Price: 185,000
- Errors: None!
2. Massey Ferguson 8S
Massey Ferguson 8S is already available in the game. However, as with many tractors on the Farming Simulator, the base version severely lacks customization. This mod by Schnibbi Modding fixes that – giving this great machine some extra features.
Here’s what the main changes are:
- Fully adaptable and configurable wheels
- Options to completely change warning signs
- Full tractor body and wheel rim color adjustments.
We left out one thing because it deserves a separate mention—the animations. Doors, sunroofs, and windows can all be fully opened. The steering columns also fold, just like in real life, depending on whether you are leaving or entering.
Should this have been a standard feature? Probably. But we can see why GIANTS might not bother: when there are modders who do an excellent job instead.
This Massey Ferguson 8S still has slight sound issues, as with many mods. But this one’s tiny, as we don’t notice a sound difference between whether the doors are closed or open. Small issue? It doesn’t change the fact that this is a beautiful mod.
Mod details:
- Power: 225-325 HP
- Modder: Schnibbi Modding
- Base Price: 202,000
- Errors: None
3. Fendt 700 and 800 Vario
Many long-time players will probably recognize this mod. Despite this model not being created to be in the base game, these Fendt tractor mods have been available to modding players ever since FS15. The models get updates with each release, making each generation better than the plan. This one’s no exception and has no issues that we noticed.
Even the most common mod issue – the sound has been perfected. Turn down your music, and take a listen. The realism in FS25 works well with these completely legit sounds. Now add some LED lights that make this tractor look like it just left the retail warehouse, and you’ve got a winning combo.
Mod details:
- Power: 115-280 HP
- Modder: WhyLineZ
- Base Price: 129.200
- Errors: None
4. Deutz-Fahr 9 Series
Long-time FS19 players will probably remember this Deutz-Fahr: it was perhaps the most popular tractor in the game. Long-time FS22 players might remember that this tractor didn’t make it to the game. It sounds like a problem – but it was solved by RedCat3D, bringing this crowd favorite into the FS22 and FS25. With additional upgrades and official-level detailing, it’s an improvement from the previous generation! The textures are very good, which players with powerful computers and large screens will enjoy. All the 300 horsepower sounds like they should, with excellent custom audio.
Mod details:
- Power: 290-340 HP
- Modder: RedCat3D
- Base Price: 280,000
- Errors: None
In the shop, you can also easily upgrade this tractor by adding different designs, including the popular Warrior design, options for custom wheels, and four different engine modifications.
5. Fendt 900 Vario (Gen 7)
This Fendt tractor can already be found in the game – but we recommend downloading this mod by Schnibbi Modding because, with some additional changes, it becomes one of the best tractor mods for FS25. You’ll find some extra features, like:
- Doors and windows are fully animated
- The steering column will fold automatically
- Warning signs will fold and unfold automatically
The customization is also greatly improved, making this Fendt FS25 mod a seriously good idea. You can customize the beacon light placement, color the rims and body with fully custom colors, and change the wheels to many options. And then there are the animations.
Mod details:
- Power: 296-415 HP
- Modder: Schnibbi Modding
- Base Price: 280,000
- Errors: None
The animations are probably our favorite part of this mod. The hand throttle and folding warning signs are fully animated.
6. Valtra S Series
Valtra S Series is another mod you probably won’t find on the base FS25 game, despite it being available on some of the previous releases. Thanks to Bubber Drumm, the legend of Valtra continues, and you can download the newest, most refined version of this tractor.
In our opinion, it’s an improvement, even with the earlier official version. The sound is much better and significantly more realistic, and with various options for adding custom wheels from different manufacturers, you’re spoiled for choice. You can also pick from 6 different engine customizations and choose the color for the body and the rims.
Mod details:
- Power: 300-405 HP
- Modder: Bubber Drumm
- Base Price: 252,000
- Errors: None
7. Case IH Optum Series
Mods are very important for keeping the online archives alive. This Case IH is another case of a perfectly great tractor getting removed from the game. For what reason exactly, we do not know. But we see this mod by Chefkoch brings the beloved tractor to FS25! And there’s plenty to be happy about.
For starters, it looks good—better than the original from the earlier releases. The good news is that the sound is improved and works seamlessly with FS25. If you don’t have any experience working with or next to Case IH Optum, you probably wouldn’t notice.
Mod details:
- Power: 288 and 313 HP
- Modder: Chefkoch
- Base Price: 240,000
- Errors: None
The only issue remains the lack of customization. All you can do is many different beacon lights. If that’s enough for you, this tractor mod will be great.
8. Massey Ferguson 8700S
Massey Ferguson MF 8700 is big and popular, but for some reason, it is not on the base game of FS25. Luckily, this oversight can be quickly fixed. This mod by Blauea can be found in the Downloadable Content section, and you should download it.
The S model of this MF tractor is the more expensive base model, with six variations having 300 to 405 horsepower. You can change the wheels for each, which is a nice benefit. Windows and doors now open, and you get full keyboard or mouse control for the animations.
Mod details:
- Power: 300-405 HP
- Modder: Blauea
- Base Price: 250,000
- Errors: None
The MF 8700S also sounds good, and we haven’t noticed a big difference between the mod and the real-life version. It’s a great update on the previous mod, with the community stepping up and updating this tractor for the next-gen of gaming.
9. Massey Ferguson 3600 and Landini 19500
If you’re a bit of an agriculture history nerd, you will love this mod. Even though the Massey Ferguson 3670 tractor is available on the base game, this mod also gives you extended 3680 and 3690 options. You will also get the Landini 19500 as well. Why is that, and why should you be interested?
That’s because 1959 Massey Ferguson purchased Landini, including all its factories. As a result, some MF models were made by Landini in Italy. And vice versa – some Landinis were built in the French MF plant. While different in name, this also meant that you could use the same parts for other models.
Mod details:
- Power: 170-190 HP
- Modder: Sham130
- Base Price: 97,000
- Errors: None
Landini 19500 is a rare model, and with plenty of vintage Massey Fergusons, this mod is a nice slice of agricultural history.
10. Valtra A Series 4
Are you looking for something small but mighty and have this model in mind? Well, you won’t find it in the base game. Luckily, this compact but powerful Valtra tractor mod is now available in FS25, thanks to Thierry Gamer.
While this Valtra is pretty small and not as powerful as some might want, many will be happy to know that you will also access great customization options with this mod.
For example, you can fully customize the interior and body of the tractor – including the driver’s seat. Lights are also customizable, letting you pick between LEDs, Xenon, or standard lights. With weight brackets and front loader mounts, this Valtra can be customized for many types of work.
Mod details:
- Power: 75-130 HP
- Modder: Thierry Gamer
- Base Price: 53,100
- Errors: No
11. Case IH MXM 190
Is it weird that this tractor made this list for sound alone? Well, it shouldn’t be – because if you care about realistic sounds, this Case IH mod by My GameSteam is your pick. The differences in sound between outdoor and cab views are great, and you can even hear the interior rattling when driving on rough terrain.
However, there are some issues. Namely, the unrealistic top speed of 75 km/h, which some may see as a bug and others as a feature. The color options are also slightly unrealistic, but in the same way – you might love it like that. If you do, it’s a great tractor to choose.
Mod details:
- Power: 190-235 HP
- Modder: My GameSteam
- Base Price: 68,000
- Errors: Some
12. Challenger MT 900 E ML
We thought FS25 was the latest technological marvel, showcasing how big the game can be. However, the Challenger MT 900 E ML was too big even for that.
It’s either that or that AGCO, owning both Fendt and Challenger, decided to go all-in on Fendt as its flagship brand for American markets. So, you might see a lot of Challengers dressed up as Fendts. But if you still want the classic Challenger look on your farm, you can still get it – using mods!
It’s realistic, as any good FS25 tractor mod should be, but we’ll say that customization is lacking. There are three different engines, the biggest at 646 HP. You can choose from a red or white logo, four Trelleborg wheels, and many colors.
Mod details:
- Power: 536-646 HP
- Modder: HoT Online Team
- Base Price: 425,000
- Errors: No
All in all, it is an excellent tractor to choose from. If you haven’t found something you like on this list, don’t worry – we have plenty more. Check out our tractor mods in the FS25 Tractors mods category.
