Peas: new crop in FS25 (When to harvest)

Peas: new crop in FS25 (When to harvest)

Peas are a wonderful produce, found in cultures and cuisines all over the world. Previously, it was missing from the Farming Simulator game. Now, your farm will be able to give peas a chance because they will be available as a brand-new crop in Farming Simulator 25!

GIANTS Software announced this in an article earlier today. They have also hinted at some other new crops coming in the future. Let’s talk about what we know and what we can expect later.

What will growing peas in Farming Simulator 25 be like?

The process of growing peas in Farming Simulator 25 will be a little bit like this:

In early spring, March, or April, you will need around 250 liters of seed for each hectare of the crop you are expecting. Then, around July to September, it will be the time to harvest. GIANTS states that one hectare of peas will give around 9,600 liters of fresh produce. Depending on your difficulty level, the selling price for the peas will be around $3,119 for a thousand liters.

You will be able to sell the peas directly. Peas will also get their own production chains, letting you use the factory mechanics to make pea products. We’re looking forward to seeing what that will be.

Here, you can see how the peas will look in the game in various stages of their growth.

However, if your peas start looking like this, it will be a sign that you missed your harvesting window and that all of your hard work has been wasted. May your fields never look like this.

Pea machinery for Farming Simulator 25

With the new announcement of peas for Farming Simulator 25, GIANTS Software has also revealed some brand new specialized machinery that will feature in the game. The only piece of the machinery announced so far was the OXBO EPD540E, a self-propelled pea harvester. It looks very cute, and the developers insist that it’s going to be very “fun to operate.”
This Dutch-made OXBO is suited for harvesting peas, broad beans, kidney beans, and flageolets. Who knows, maybe we’re going to see these crops in the game as well.

New crop in Farming Simulator 25 – green beans

GIANTS has only posted a teaser on their website, but it seems very clear that this isn’t the end of the new crops on Farming Simulator 25.

Unsurprisingly, the green beans will be next up. We are waiting for more information from GIANTS, and we can’t wait to play the new Farming Simulator 25 game, which will be released on November 12, 2024.
