FS25: Interactive NPC Characters & Features
There are less than three weeks left until the release of Farming Simulator 25, and today, we have an overview of two NPC characters in the game: Granpa Walter and former city boy David! Let’s prioritize the older ones, so we begin with Grandpa!
The storyline of Grandpa Walter
The first character titled in the game is “Grandpa Walter.” He is fit for his age, kind-hearted, and full of stories. His son left a farm for a city career, and it’s good for you because his farm can be yours now. So you can meet Grandpa Walter and interact with him by asking him about the family’s history or how they grew sugar beet on his farm. Let Walter share some wholesome farming wisdom with you. His motto:
One bad harvest does not define you as a farmer, just as one twister does not define a season.
If you take care of the t, you will start on the Riverbend Springs map with the starting red color farmhouse, a shelter for your tractor, and a little cow.
The storyline of City Boy David
David’s NPC storyline is completely different from Grandpa Walter’s. David comes from the city and has no experience in farming. He is not the smartest but means well and is your neighbor. He loves to talk, so just ask him, and he will tell you why he fled the city and what’s different about the way of life. He failed a lot in farming, so let him share advice based on his agricultural failures. From the video, we can assume that David owns a sunflower farm.
NPC Features
Not enough information about the NPC features has been revealed yet, but what is known at the moment is:
- NPC can talk with you, and it brings more liveliness.
- Mouths are moving to make it more realistic.
- NPC has different voices, which I think is pretty cool.
Based on these characters, I believe Farming Simulator 25 will be playable in story mode. The game will become about farming and creating some storylines.
