Multiplayer Mode: How Does it Work?

The multiplayer mode is possible because each server can host multiple farms. You and your FS25 buddies can build one farm and cooperate or have separate farms and compete against each other.

How does hosting work in Farming Simulator 25?

The host of the server has two options:

  1. Manage resources on your own
  2. Divide resources between all players on the server

The host also manages the entire map layout and the number of farms on the server, ensuring a customizable and flexible playing experience for all parties.

How to join a Multiplayer server

  2. You will see two options: Join Game and Create Game. If you choose Join Game, you will see a server list of possible multiplayer games, including your friend list.
  3. Use search to find the correct server. You can also use filters to list servers with DLC, protected by passwords, or crossplay servers.

  5. Max. player limits. Choose how many players can join the server.
  6. Allow only friends. You can turn it on or off to allow only players from your friend list to join the server.

Your farm is safe! Other players cannot mess up your farm on the same server. In multiplayer mode, no one can access your farm except you. This goes both ways, as you do not have the right to access other people’s farms or mess with their equipment or crops.

You can see how the multiplayer mode in FS25 works by watching live streams and playthroughs on video-sharing platforms like YouTube or Twitch.
