Farming Simulator 25: How to play Co-Op Multiplayer
This guide will help you understand how to play multiplayer mode in Farming Simulator 25. Crossplay allows you to play with other players on devices like PCs or Consoles.
Multiplayer Mode: How Does it Work?
The multiplayer mode is possible because each server can host multiple farms. You and your FS25 buddies can build one farm and cooperate or have separate farms and compete against each other.
How does hosting work in Farming Simulator 25?
The host of the server has two options:
- Manage resources on your own
- Divide resources between all players on the server
The host also manages the entire map layout and the number of farms on the server, ensuring a customizable and flexible playing experience for all parties.
How to join a Multiplayer server
- Choose the Multiplayer tab on the main menu to play a Multiplayer game.
- You will see two options: Join Game and Create Game. If you choose Join Game, you will see a server list of possible multiplayer games, including your friend list.
- Use search to find the correct server. You can also use filters to list servers with DLC, protected by passwords, or crossplay servers.
How to create a Multiplayer server
- If you want to create a server, choose the Multiplayer tab on the main menu and click Create Game.
- Enter your your server name. You can use this name to find your server in the list later.
- Set a password to your server. Only your friends or opponents who know the password can join the server.
- Allow crossplay. Choose whether or not people should join the server with other platforms, such as PS5.
- Max. player limits. Choose how many players can join the server.
- Allow only friends. You can turn it on or off to allow only players from your friend list to join the server.
- Click Start to finish creating your server.
After creating the server, you can invite friends to join your farm in the Farm Management tab.
Your farm is safe! Other players cannot mess up your farm on the same server. In multiplayer mode, no one can access your farm except you. This goes both ways, as you do not have the right to access other people’s farms or mess with their equipment or crops.
