Can I Run Farming Simulator 25 on PC?

Farming Simulator 25 is an upcoming simulation game about farming, growing crops, and managing your farm. But will your computer be able to run it? We’ll provide the latest updates on FS25’s system requirements and give you pointers on what to expect when it comes out.

Farming Simulator 25 – System Requirements for PC on Windows (Minimum)

The graphical jumps from Farming Simulator 22 to Farming Simulator 25 are large. An official minimum FS25 requirements for PC will be:

What do these requirements mean for your PC? Using a mid-range graphics card and processor combo from 2012, you could play this game on minimum-to-medium graphics.

To estimate the system requirements for FS25 on Mac, let’s look at the older game’s requirements:

Like the Windows requirements, the minimum Mac system requirements look similar. You should be able to play FS25 with a 2015 MacBook Pro. And if your Mac uses the new Apple M1, it should run without issues.

Important information: These system requirements can’t cover all possible system configurations, so issues could occur that avoid or influence the functionality in some cases. Farming Simulator worked perfectly on mid-tier hardware released eight years ago. So, we can expect Farming Simulator 25 to work well on mid-tier hardware starting in 2017.

And, of course, like the previous games, Farming Simulator 25 will fully allow modding, which has become an integral part of the series. This means you can add much extra functionality to the game. This will include new vehicles, completely different maps, and updated buildings or structures. Luckily, they will have a pretty small effect on the game’s performance on your machine, as they are pretty well optimized with the existing game system. We expect to see some great FS25 mods as soon as the game launches!

When will FS25 be released?

Farming Simulator 25 will be released on November 12th, 2024, on PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. This will allow us to examine the game’s requirements more closely. The Farming Simulator series has been pretty consistent with its requirements. The game doesn’t include many complicated 3D graphics and doesn’t need to render large animations quickly. It makes it very easy for the game to run on older and slower computers. Your computer should be able to play Farming Simulator on decent graphics and a good frame rate. Even the slightly older laptops with integrated graphics chips should do a good job with the game. And if your computer is no older than a couple of years old, Farming Simulator 25 should work perfectly well.
