How to Fix a Tractor on Farming Simulator 25

Farming Simulator 25 is a simulation game that offers an incredibly accurate farming experience. You get an option to work your farm the way you see fit, getting to customize your fields and forests, growing and harvesting different types of crops and plants, as well as building an entire animal farm. In order to have a fully working farm, one thing is clear – you will need a massive fleet of vehicles to get you to be as efficient as you can possibly be. Namely – tractors, as any larger farm in the game will have many of them on the fields. But just like in real life, sometimes your tractors simply stop working, or start being a lot less efficient than they used to be. Let’s take a look at why it happens, and how you can edit a tractor to play the game better.

One thing to understand about tractors in FS25, is that their quality will reduce over time: just like in real life. The more you use something, the worse it gets – same way how your car gets a rattling sound after you drive it for a long time. But unlike your car in real life, you can easily see your tractor’s current status. The informational screen just above the speedometer, and the vehicle overview screen will give you most of the information.

Now, once you find out that you need to edit your tractor in order to make it work better, let’s take a look at the three different ways to do it!

Repair it remotely

Remote repair is by far the easiest way to fix your tractor. All you need to do is to open the screen that has your items and choose the one that needs to be fixed. It’s as simple as that.

Repairing in the workshop behind the shop

You can also repair your machinery by picking a workshop that is usually behind every shop. You can repair your machinery there.

Repairing in your own workshop

Finally, for improved realism and convenience, you can simply open your very own repair shop to fix a tractor on FS25. If that sounds interesting to you, just follow these steps:

  1. Go to the shop
  2. Select the “Placeables” option
  3. Choose “Miscellaneous”
  4. Click on “Vehicle Workshop”

This is a little bit of an investment, costing 28,000 – but in the grand scheme of things, it’s not that much. And now, with a repair workshop on your farm, you can have a massive fleet of tractors and have to worry a lot less about repairing them manually. With a well-maintained tractor, this money will pay back for itself easily.

All in all, just pick a method you like the most. There are plenty of different ways to fix and edit a tractor on FS25 – and there’s no wrong option.
