I find carting around water tanks to fill large production tanks like greenhouses to be tedious.  So, I made this mod from the base game Windmill asset so that it distributes water. As far as realism/immersion . . . well my take is that my farm is built over a large underground aquifer, and this age old windmill is pumping fresh clean water from that aquifer.  In addition, we have installed the necessary infrastructure to distribute that water to my greenhouses.  No more hauling trailers back and forth to fill greenhouses!

What it does:
Converts the classic wind wheel water tower into a working production point
Generates water at no cost — no inputs, no ongoing expense
Set its output to Distributing and it’ll automatically supply water to any of your productions that need it (like greenhouses)
Still lets you manually fill a trailer at the base if you want to move water elsewhere by hand

How to use it:
Buy and place it like any other building (Placeables → Production → Factories)
Open its production menu and activate the water recipe
Switch the output mode to Distributing
It will only distribute to other productions.  It will not distribute to animal pens.
Water production income = $0  Water usage anxiety = $0

Notes:
It takes a little time for the windmill to catch up and fill all of your productions.  Don’t expect it to immediately fill everything.
