Farming Simulator 2013 was the release that made this series massive. Back then, mods were also a thing, but downloading them was a lot easier. All you had to do was to visit sites like American Eagles Modding, FS-UK, or Modhoster, and all the mods available would be there.
Fast forward to now, and the situation has changed. For Farming Simulator 25 alone, there are at least around 30 different websites offering Farming Simulator 25 mods. However, a lot of those sites offer the same mods that are available on ModHub or Forbidden mods. The same mods are often available on all different platforms.
